This grows more sinister each day. There are reports now that team Trump knows that what
they are doing is just spreading lies, creating chaos and causing great harm, but that is the
plan. They know they have nothing, they just want to fool the Trumpets again. With these
lies as cover, Trump has invited the Republican legislature leadership from Michigan to the WH
today. This is another new, despicable low, but it's part of his evil plot. He's already called
the two county election officials in Miohigan that were flip flopping on whether to certify
the election results, to pressure them. Now he's trying to pressure the Michigan state
legislature to ignore the election results and just award all the Michigan electors to him.
He figures if he can pressure them, next he'll go to work on more states, to get them to do the same.

We always figured that Trump would not be a man, that it might take a bulldozer to get him out of there when he lost. But this just confirms that those that expected the very worst, that Trump really is a dictator wannabe, that he will do anything, were right. And the rest of the above plot is that even if it fails, by filling the Trumpets with lies, Trump figures that he will essentially take them with him when he leaves. They will believe his lies, think the election was stolen, that he was wronged and they will be ready to vote fo him again in 2024 and meanwhile be eager viewers for his upcoming cable shit show. That all this is destroying America, destroying faith in our elections, in our democracy, making us look like a corrupt, rigged third world country, doesn't matter. As always, Trump doesn't care about America, it's always about Trump, Trump, Trump. What is sad and stunning is that somehow there are so many people like Rudy that are eager to help him do it and that the Trumpets once again are believing his latest lies, egging him on.

If you're suggesting that someone could use one of those to catch some of team Trump
saying something, sure they could. But it wouldn't matter. Team Trump would just call
it fake news, made up, etc. And we know that works. No matter what comes out, it
just doesn't matter anymore. They just move on to the next crazy lies and spin. This
is the new America and like I said, Americans are getting to the point that they just give
up, that they can't tell the truth from lies, that they aren't going to spend the time to
figure it out. This cancer is far more serious than most people realize. And it's being
brought to us by the master, Trump, who learned from Roy Cohen. I have been wondering
if there finally is a McCarthy moment, when Trump finally goes to far, where someone
finally puts him in his place and most Republicans finally realize what a horrible POS
he really is. I see no signs of it yet.

I've been hoping for that too. I don't think Biden's people had to talk
to those in office on the first day, or the second -- they were busy.
But it's been 17 days out of 78. It's time enough. Isn't there some
Republican whose term ends this January anyhow? Or someone who's dying.

What good is dying if you can't take advantage of it at a time like
this?

Or someone whose retiring not just from government but from everything.

Or someone with honor? Even the few who have complained, have not
compllained strongly enough.

Do these guys think trump will have them killed, or their family?
Maybe. Or burn down their house? Maybe.

I'd like to know what he said to those two guys from Michigan to get
them to try to reverse their votes again.

A hand full have come forward. Romney for example, just totally condemned Trump's
latest move, which is to invite the GOP legislature from Michigan to the WH to try to
strong arm them into ignoring the votes of the people. Larry Hogan, Dewine, Ben Sasse,
Susan Collins are among the others.

There aren't many that are retiring and all the rest fear that if they speak out,
the trumpets will turn on them, they will get primaried, etc. There are some like
Peter King, who is leaving, IDK what's wrong with him. I thought he had integrity,
but obviously not.

Yeah, who knows. Meanwhile the lying, the delusion, keeps going. I'm listening to
Mark Simone on WABC NYC right now. He's been a total trumptard since day one,
totally defending as great everything Trump has done for 4 years. Now he's yapping
about how great a lawyer Sidney Powell is, how servers in Germany and Spain that
were used to count the votes here were raided by the US military, etc, etc, etc.
I mean this level of crazy and despicable used to be confined to the likes of Alex Jones.
Now it's everywhere. The above BS, which I had not heard before, was even put
forth by Louie Gohmert, the Congressman from Texas. It's as factual as all the rest:

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-election-syctl-military/fact-check-the-u-s-military-has-not-seized-election-servers-in-germany-idUSKBN27W1UW

Simone went on to say that Sidney Powell held up a stack of affidavits at the press conference.
He said, "that's evidence", she has the evidence. NEver mind that we've seen one after
another of these affidavits to really say nothing or to be withdrawn, like the PA postal
worker. What everyone should look at is not a stack of paper that some ahole claims
is evidence, but what they actually present in court and what the lawyers say in court.
Powell and Giluliani can say most anything in public without evidence, with it being a lie,
but if they do it in court, they risk being disbarred. That's why the other day Rudy admitted
they have no evidence of fraud. But then he goes out to his press conference and claims
that there is a nationwide conspiracy directed from a central place, that stole the election.

McSally (a name I'd never heard before) lost to Mark Kelly, but she's
only 55 yaars old so she's not done.

Laura Trump, eric's wife, is thinking of running for the Senate from
Carolina, one of them. So are others. Should be interesting.

If they pick the right places they may have success. There are still
Trump supporters ready to go to war for him.

I can a bunch of Trumps in the house and senate and Donald running for
prez in 2014. They will put Hitler to shame.

McSally ran in the prior election but lost, and the seat went to a democrat. She was then appointed to McCain's seat when he died.

All the Trumps have aspirations. Ivanka wants to be the first female president but her brother Don Jr is vying for presidency as well

And speaking of idiots.... this guy absolutely could write a book every 3 months, sure.

Chávez has been dead for seven years, but he’s influencing the U.S.
election from his grave? Seriously, the Trump attorneys are offering up
a stew of misinformation derived mostly from Internet rumors and
right-wing blogs.

So are other Republicans, I meant. FTR.

>McSally ran in the prior election but lost, and the seat went to a democrat. She was then appointed to McCain's seat when he died.

Well, Kyl was apointed to McCain's seat in 2018. He accepted saying he
woudln't run in the 2020 special election, and he didn't. In fact he
resigned at the end of December 2018, so that McSally could be appointed
to the seat and take office a couple days before new senators elected
that year did, so she would have seniority.

It would be interesting to see them campaign against each other. Would
take lying to a new frontier.

Voting from the grave is not unheard of.  In fact, millions of Republicans become democrats when they die.

Once the Left has been eradicated these kind of problems will no longer
trouble us. Bring on the economic collapse, Lefties, so we can get the
general population angry enough to round you up and ship you all off
on a little "camping" trip.
